Ascension : New Lay Advocate Appointed For Ascension
Submitted by The Islander (Gavin Yon) 11.11.2004 (Article Archived on 25.11.2004)

Mrs Georgina ( Georgie) Benjamin has been appointed as a lay advocate for Ascension.

Mrs Georgina ( Georgie) Benjamin has been
appointed as a lay advocate for Ascension. She was appointed by me , as
public solicitor, with the approval of the local Justices of the Peace.
Georgie acted as a Lay Advocate on St Helena for several years before moving
to Ascension with her husband. The number of lay advocates on Ascension is
now three; Lawson Henry, Johnny Hobson and Georgie. Georgie's telephone
number is 6891

Thank You
Colin Forbes
